TEACHING

Coady Green has extensive teaching experience with all ages and levels. He currently teaches piano at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music, the University of Melbourne. At the Melbourne Conservatorium, he has designed and coordinates and lectures all subjects relating to piano pedagogy and keyboard repertoire for the Masters of Music Performance Teaching (MMusPT) course.

 

During his years living in London, he was a piano teacher at the Royal College of Music, London and at the University of London (Goldsmiths College).

 

He frequently gives masterclasses at major tertiary and secondary institutions within Australia and internationally throughout the USA, UK and Europe, Africa and Asia.

 

He has extensive experience teaching chamber music, including at major institutions such as the Royal College of Music Junior Department, the University of London, the University of Melbourne, Monash University and various other institutions throughout the UK and Europe, Africa, USA and Asia. He frequently works as a vocal coach for professional opera and musical theatre singers. He is regularly involved in mentorship programs for talented young musicians, including the Melbourne Youth Orchestra program run through the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music.

 

Coady is a busy examiner at the University of Melbourne and the Australian Music Examinations Board (AMEB). He is in demand as an adjudicator and juror at many music competitions and eisteddfods within Australia and internationally.
