Coady Green on piano and Justin Kenealy on saxophone, unite as Duo Eclettico.
Australia’s busiest classical saxophone and piano duo bring a vibrant, virtuosic program of music to Hawthorn Arts Centre, with a strong focus on works by living Australian composers, many written specifically for Duo Eclettico.
The program will feature:
- a preview of Linda Kouvaras’s Night Pieces: Reflections After COVID-19, ahead of its premiere at Melbourne Recital Centre in November
- Australian works by Carmichael, Hammond, Greenbaum, Hindson and Poole
- CPE Bach’s beautiful G minor Sonata
- Picnic on the Marne by Pulitzer Prize winning American genius Ned Rorem.
