About the event
Coady Green on piano and Justin Kenealy on saxophones, unite as Duo Eclettico.
Australia’s busiest classical saxophone and piano duo, they bring a vibrant, virtuosic program of music to Hawthorn Arts Centre, with a strong focus on works by living Australian composers, many written specifically for Duo Eclettico.
The program will feature the new work by Linda Kouvaras, Night Pieces: Reflections After COVID-19, given after its critically-renowned premiere last year at the Melbourne Recital Centre.
This will be presented alongside major new Australian works by Stuart Greenbaum, Gulliver Poole and Sam Williams, and the dazzling suite Picnic on the Marne by Pulitzer Prize winning American genius Ned Rorem.
